Demos

Lab49 continuously develops applications that demonstrate the latest technologies and how they can be applied in the next generation trading room.

Best Execution Demo

Lab49 built a demo to show how complex event processing (using BEA's Event Server) and a WPF user interface could be used to configure, measure and execute securities in real-time across multiple trading venues on a "Best Execution" basis. The demo allows the key parameters for determining best execution (price, volume, latency and spread) to be changed on-the-fly, while continuing to prospect trades across various European stock exchanges.

Market Liquidity Analysis Visualization

Lab49 MLA Visualization

Lab49 has built a visualization framework that integrates with Aleri's Market Liquidity Analysis (MLA) engine. MLA allows brokers and traders to optimize results across competing exchanges while the Lab49 framework provides a rich visual framework to gain insight into market dynamics. Additionally, the user interface enables users to consolidate trade reports, quotes and order books across multiple exchanges in real-time, creating a single virtual order book that represents the liquidity of the entire visible market. Consolidated last price and best bid/offer record for each security can also be generated. Click here to watch a screencast of MLA.

Compute Grid Node Manager Visualization

Lab49 has built a demonstrative WPF application that visualizes the live status of the nodes of a compute grid infrastructure and displays the status of the tasks being executed by each node. Click on each image below to see more details. To run a ClickOnce version of the demo, click here (ClickOnce requires .NET 3.5. Link only works in IE).

BEA Fixed Income Portfolio Pricing Demo

Lab49 has developed a demonstration of how BEA's Weblogic Event Server (WLEVS) can be used to price a portfolio of fixed income instruments. Ross Hamilton presented the demonstration at BEA World in San Francisco. Click here to watch a screencast of the presentation

Lab49 Develops Brand New User Interface for Linedata Service' LongView Live Using WPF

Lab49 worked with Linedata Services to develop LongView Live, the next-generation of Linedata's powerful, global, multi-asset class order management system. Longview Live utilizes WPF as the foundation for the platform, to create a graphics-intensive, highly intuitive user interface presenting users with a radically new way to access the market with an emphasis on data visualization.
