WHY:
With fallout from recent financial turmoil and increased regulatory pressures, investment firms have been thrust into new lines of business, sometimes with little experience or expertise. Facing enormous pressure from the business side, IT must work through the chaos, handle sudden and far-reaching dislocation and capitalize on new unique set of challenges. To help manage priorities, firms are implementing dedicated issue tracking systems, document management, data warehouse and reporting capabilities to improve business process efficiencies and minimize downside. By bringing to bear a proven architecture for managing risk and providing clarity during times of great change, firms can adapt and respond with precision and decisiveness.
